Risk Disclosure
Trading financial instruments carries significant risk. Please read this disclosure in full before opening an account or making any trades.
Important: Trading involves substantial risk of loss and is not appropriate for every investor. You may lose more than your initial investment.

1. General Risk Warning
Trading and investing in financial instruments — including stocks, forex, commodities, cryptocurrencies, indices, and derivatives — involves a substantial degree of risk. You may lose some or all of your invested capital. Before using Velox Brokerage's services, you must ensure that you understand the risks involved and that trading is appropriate for your financial situation, investment objectives, and risk tolerance. If you are uncertain, seek independent financial advice from a qualified adviser. Velox Brokerage does not guarantee any level of return and is not responsible for losses incurred as a result of trading activity.
2. Market Risk
Financial markets are inherently volatile. Prices of financial instruments can and do move rapidly in response to: • Macroeconomic data releases (e.g. inflation, employment, GDP). • Central bank interest rate decisions. • Geopolitical events, conflicts, and political instability. • Corporate earnings announcements and regulatory actions. • Liquidity conditions and sudden shifts in investor sentiment. Market movements are unpredictable. Even experienced traders and professional analysts can, and do, experience significant losses. Past performance of any trader, analyst, strategy, or instrument on the Velox platform is not indicative of future results.
3. Leveraged Products
Certain products offered on the platform may involve leverage or margin. Leveraged trading allows you to control a larger position than your deposited capital. While this amplifies potential gains, it equally amplifies potential losses. You may lose more than your initial deposit when trading leveraged products. Losses can accrue rapidly and may exceed the balance of your account in extreme market conditions. You should never trade with money you cannot afford to lose. Velox may issue margin calls requiring you to deposit additional funds to maintain open positions. Failure to meet margin requirements may result in the automatic closure of your positions at a loss.
4. Copy Trading Risk
Velox's copy trading feature allows you to automatically replicate the trades of other users ("Signal Providers") on the platform. Before using copy trading, you must understand: • Past performance of a Signal Provider does not guarantee future performance. • A Signal Provider's trading strategy may not be suitable for your risk profile or financial situation. • You remain fully responsible for the trading activity carried out in your account, including copied trades. • Signal Providers may change their trading style, increase risk exposure, or become inactive at any time. • Copying a trade does not mean you will receive the same result — differences in account size, timing, and market conditions may lead to materially different outcomes. You should monitor copied trades regularly and set appropriate stop-loss limits.
5. Liquidity Risk
Not all markets are equally liquid. In times of high volatility or low trading volume, it may be difficult to: • Execute trades at your desired price. • Close or exit a position without significant slippage. • Obtain accurate real-time pricing. Illiquid markets can lead to wider bid-ask spreads and unexpected execution prices. This is particularly relevant for exotic currency pairs, small-cap equities, and certain cryptocurrency assets.
6. Technology & Operational Risk
The use of an online trading platform involves technology risk, including: • Internet connectivity failures on your end or ours. • System downtime due to maintenance, technical faults, or cyber incidents. • Delays in order execution during periods of high market activity. • Software bugs or data feed errors. While Velox implements industry-standard redundancy and security measures, no system is entirely fault-free. You should have contingency plans in place, including the ability to contact our support team to manually close positions if required.
7. Currency Risk
If your account is denominated in a currency different from the instrument you are trading, changes in exchange rates will affect the value of your profits and losses when converted back to your account currency. Currency risk is present even when trading instruments that themselves are not foreign exchange products.
8. Regulatory & Legal Risk
Financial regulations differ significantly between jurisdictions. Changes in law, regulation, or government policy may affect the availability of certain products, the tax treatment of gains, or the overall legality of certain trading activities in your jurisdiction. It is your responsibility to ensure that your use of Velox's services complies with the laws of your country of residence. Velox Brokerage does not provide legal or tax advice. Consult a qualified professional in your jurisdiction for guidance specific to your circumstances.
9. Analyst-Managed & Structured Plans
Velox offers investment plans managed or guided by in-house analysts. While our analysts apply rigorous methodologies, all investment decisions involve judgment under uncertainty and no plan is free of risk. Projected returns shown on promotional material are illustrative only and are not guaranteed. You should read all plan documentation carefully, including risk ratings and historical drawdown data, before committing capital.
10. Responsibility & Acknowledgement
By using Velox Brokerage's services, you acknowledge that: • You have read and understood this Risk Disclosure Statement. • You accept that trading involves risk and that you may lose some or all of your capital. • You are solely responsible for all trading decisions made in your account. • Velox Brokerage is not liable for any trading losses you incur. • You will seek independent financial advice if you are unsure whether trading is appropriate for you. If you have any questions about the risks described in this document, please contact us before opening or funding an account.
